The Association for Advancing Automation is forming a nonprofit trade association dedicated to supporting and promoting the Mexican automation industry.
The new association, A3 Mexico, seeks to become a networking hub for all aspects of the automation industry in Mexico. A3 is an Ann Arbor, Mich.-based umbrella organization incorporating three groups: the Robotic Industries Association, AIA-Advancing Vision + Imaging, and Motion Control & Motor Association.
"A3 Mexico is the first organization that represents and promotes the automation ecosystem in Mexico," A3 President Jeff Burnstein said. "As a global organization, A3 is uniquely qualified to meet the needs of Mexico's fast-growing industry. Establishing A3 Mexico is an extension of our core mission."
A3 will officially launch A3 Mexico at the Expo Manufactura from Feb. 7-9 in Monterrey, Mexico. http://bit.ly/2k7GBjk
